SEO Can Be Lonely

June 16th, 2010 | google | No Comments »

SEO can be a lonely business. You go about your day looking at analytics, and coding and building links or submitting articles. You face these red astrix or must be filled out boxes and other impersonal things. You have loads of passwords and the same old websites you visit every day. You make reports and track the progress of different client websites. Find new placs to build links by checking other websites and seeing where they get links from. Read forums and visit blogs. Making sure things that should have been done have been. looking for ways to improve. None of it is very personal.

Sometimes you are lucky enough to meet a client, and you get to talk about all the fun you have been having getting their rankings and try to make the behind the scenes work of SEO services sound more interesting than it really is.

But do you know what? There is one thing that makes it all worth it. When you see a clients site get onto the first page for the first time, or they get above their main competitor, this is when we get some exercise, dancing around and pumping our fists in the air. I have noticed that one way women and men are different are in their celebration. Men pump their fists in the air some how, and women jump up and down.

So there you have my thoughts for today about our SEO service in Melbourne. It is not exciting to do, or talk about, but when you see the results, that is when the fun starts. And results are what we are known for.
